Caldo de Piranha
This is a dish from the Midwest region of Brazil, more precisely, from Mato Grosso do Sul and the Pantanal, since the piranha is a very common fish in this region’s rivers.
The name “piranha” comes from the tupi words “pirá”, meaning fish, and “anha”, meaning teeth, so the name means fish with tooth.
